Copyright & Takedown Policy

How to report copyright infringement on Image 2 and how we handle removal requests for the community gallery.

Last updated: 2026-06-19

Purpose

Image 2 respects intellectual property rights. This policy explains how rights holders can report infringing content in our community gallery and how users may respond.

This policy is not legal advice. If you are unsure about your rights, consult an attorney.

What we host

Users may voluntarily publish AI-generated images and prompts to a public community gallery. We do not pre-screen all publications. We act on valid complaints and enforce our Community Guidelines.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content on Image 2 infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@gptimage2.com with the subject line Copyright Notice including:

  1. Your contact information — legal name, mailing address, phone, and email.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work — describe the work or provide a URL to an authorized example.
  3. Identification of the infringing material — direct URL(s) on Image 2 (gallery item links or screenshots with enough detail for us to locate the content).
  4. Good-faith statement — that you believe the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement — that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
  6. Signature — physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent.

Incomplete notices may delay processing.

Our response

When we receive a valid notice, we may:

  • Remove or disable access to the reported content.
  • Notify the user who published it.
  • Request additional information from either party.
  • Terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

We aim to review complete notices within a reasonable timeframe (typically within several business days).

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to support@gptimage2.com with:

  1. Your contact information.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. Consent to jurisdiction of the courts in your district (or where Image 2 is located, if outside the United States) and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

We may restore content after 10–14 business days unless the complainant informs us they have filed a court action, subject to applicable law.

Other IP claims

For trademark, publicity, or privacy concerns, email support@gptimage2.com with IP Complaint in the subject and the same level of detail (your rights, the content URL, and why it violates your rights).

Misuse of this process

Knowingly submitting false infringement claims or counter-notices may result in liability and account termination.
